Scientific Journals

The mission of disseminating research results and exchanging information between the researchers and the experts was an incentive for ARI to initiate the publication of Journal of Reproduction & Infertility (JRI) and Avicenna Journal of Medical Technology (AJMB).
The main scope of JRI is to publish articles in the field of basic and clinical studies, diagnostic and therapeutic methods, epidemiology, psychological, legal, and jurisprudential issues in reproduction and infertility.
AJMB is also responsible to publish articles relevant to new technologies in biological sciences and the association of these issues to medical ethics, law, and social relationships.

Other publications

Since the establishment, Avicenna Research Institute along with disseminating reproductive biotechnology and infertility findings proceeded to publish several professional journals.
Fertility and Sterility Magazine, Fertility and Infertility News Magazine, Antibody Monoclonal Magazine, and Reproductive Health Quarterly were published in 1998, 1999, and 2003, respectively.
The publication was accompanied by a newsstand distribution from 2003. It is worth emphasizing that Avicenna Journal of Medical Biotechnology (AJMB) has also been released in English since 2009.
This Journal was approved by the Commission for the Accreditation and Improvement of Iranian Medical Journals (CAIMJ) in the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
Despite serious planning and effort for continuous publication of below journals and the audiences' interest, publishing was halted upon the ACECR policy. We hope that in the near future we will be able to meet the scientific needs of students and researchers in the country by resuming publication of below magazines and journals.

The concept of family is formed and anchored by the presence of children. But sometimes this will not be easy. Unfortunately, today, the number of couples who face problems in having children is increasing, and the lack of knowledge on how to solve this problem may lead to many complications and the breakdown of family units. In order to raise public awareness and shorten the path for treatment of infertile couples, the Magazine started its activities in August 1999. The Magazine introduces the diseases and their treatment, new drugs and medication, and provides advice regarding the problems of infertile couples. Unfortunately, this magazine has not been published since 2004 owing to ACECR policy.

Generation of monoclonal antibody is among the most important achievements ever done in biotechnology. At present, monoclonal antibodies have irreplaceable application in diagnostic, therapeutic, and research fields, so their production and detection gains significance in medical and biological areas. With respect to this fact, Monoclonal Antibody Research Center embarked on the publication of a magazine, besides its activity, to satisfy the academic requirements through providing them with the scientific and applied information on monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies since 2003. Unfortunately, this magazine has not been published since 2004 based on ACECR policy.
