The purpose of this research group constitutes the development of knowledge in various fields of nanotechnology and medical sciences, including diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases. Nanotechnology is creating new properties and improving existing properties, or improves material performance. From a technical point of view, treatment and prevention of diseases are valuable capabilities of nanotechnology that it will be done by nano-engineered devices and nanostructures for fabrication control, monitoring and repair the body's biological systems at the molecular level. Considering the experience of recombinant technology research group of the Nanobiotechnolgy department in the production of recombinant antibodies and antigen-specific cancer-specific markers of various cancers, Possibility of employing them for the treatment of diseases especially cancer through nanotechnology research group with field of specialization in design and application of modern medical systems based on nano-science will be practical. At the present the research priorities of this department have been focused on: - New systems designing for cancer diagnostic and therapy
- Design of controlled drug delivery system
