Considering the importance of nanoparticles as a major material in drug delivery techniques and also relatively expensive price of these materials, particularly for pharmaceutical applications, synthesis of some nanoparticles is the main objective of the research group. Considering very small size of such particles, Possibility of their penetration into tissues and then into the cells, the great hope has been provided for the treatment of diseases at cellular scale. Multiple reasons, nanomagnetic and nanofluorescence particles have more advantages compared to other particles. Synthesis of nanomaterials, stabilization of functional groups for using medical science including drug delivery and diagnosis and treatment of cancer are included majority of the Nanobiosynthesis group’s aims. Although, more nanoparticles can be prepared from different commercial companies, but more specificity of the particles is in their on patent and it tends to reduce in their application efficiency. Additionally, Due to lack of access to complete information about some commercially nanomaterials, creation of optimum conditions will not be existed. At the present the research priorities of this department have been focused on: - Smart Nano-structures synthesis for drug delivery
- Chemical and biological synthesis of nanoparticles
