Akhondi M.M. (Ph.D.), who is one of the founders of the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), obtained his PhD degree in embryology from the University of Sheffield. As the chairman, he has also established the Avicenna Research Institute. Dr. Akhondi is interested in human reproduction, fertility preservation and other related issues and has authored and co-authored more than 200 publications in national and international journals. Contributing a great deal to formulate the standards of infertility services in Iran is among his prominent activities in the field of reproduction and public health.
