Avicenna Research Institute including Reproductive Biotechnology Research Center (RBRC), Monoclonal Antibody Research Center (MARC), Nanobiotechnology Research Center (NBRC) and Avicenna Infertility Clinic (AIC) was established in 1998 in association with a team of basic medical scientists and infertility treatment professional under approval of Academic Center for Education Culture and Research (ACECR) board of trustees. In July 1999 the authorization was officially granted to Avicenna Research Institute by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education.
